Active Galactic Nuclei
Among the many facets of the universe the active galactic nuclei (AGN)
are particularly fascinating drawing their extremely high power
from mass accretion onto a black hole.
Observations in the X-ray, UV-optical, infrared and radio regimes as well as theoretical models reveal a diversity among AGN.
The splinter-meeting shall congregate the experts for reporting
in an easily understandable way about the actual status of their
fields and interchanging ideas.
