We are glad to announce that the next LOFAR MKSP Annual Meeting and Busy Days will be hosted by the Astronomical Institute of the Ruhr-University Bochum. It will take place on 23-27 September 2019 in Bochum (Germany) at the Ruhr-University Bochum.

The main objectives of this annual meeting are to share the latest scientific results obtained by the MKSP members using LOFAR, to discuss current and future projects and to present software and technical developments. In addition, the busy days have been proved to be very efficient when it comes to advancing collaborative work and training new members. This year, we will alternate the science meeting with the busy days (mostly, science mornings and busy afternoons).

The meeting is intended for MKSP members only. However, any scientist interested in the project is welcome to contact us (mksp2019 (at) astro.rub.de) about the possibility of attending the meeting.

Several social events are planned, including a welcome reception on Monday (23 September) and a conference dinner on Wednesday (25 September).

The average temperature in Bochum in September over the last years was around 13-15 °C.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Bochum!

This event has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 730562 [RadioNet].

We would like to thank also the Research Department Plasmas with Complex Interactions of the RUB for its support.
